Master Iva “Nick” E. Nicholas is a 5th Degree Black Belt who was born and raised in the United States Virgin Island. After high school, Master joined the United Stated Military (National Guard), where he served for three years.
While in college, Master Nick at the age of 21, trained in FT Lauderdale Florida under Grandmaster Jung Soo Park. He attended Fort Lauderdale Business College, now Florida Metropolitan University, where he earned an associate degree in Business Management, played baseball and basketball.
Master Nick was the Gold Coast Tae Kwon Do Champion 3 years in a row and Florida State Tae Kwon Do Medalist. Before moving to Middlebury, Master Nick taught for two years at Parks Tae Kwon Do School in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. He opened Hoosier Tae Kwon Do in1997 and has been a pillar of the community ever since.
